You can launch at the tan tar a landing. The parking lot is small though. Bring some wood blocks for the trailer wheels. Ive seen 35 footers launch there. I will be launching my 25 Eliminator there again this year. for testing you can go upstream from tan tar a (left out of the bay) theres much cleaner water there with less traffic. The idleing distance is about 15 to 20 minutes to shooters on race day from tan tar a's direction. I think Shooters used to have a ramp? Others may know a better spot closer to put in. I will be with my brother (24' Checkmate, and cousin 27 Baja and some 25-27' tunnel guys we met last year. Maybe Ill see you there. Greg

Thanks I will call the Bluemoon marina to see if I can launch there Sat & Sun AM.I would like to hire some kid with maybe a jetski to tow me back to Shooters after each run in the Shootout ,My motor does not have a lot of life when pumped up for this race and would like to save it. It doe's not like to idle around. Doe's anyone know of someone I can get for Sat & Sun.
will gladly pay whoever I can get . My cell # is 541-660-1443 and will be staying at TanTara be in there Wed evening and on the water for testing Thur and Fri if needed. I have a slip reserved at TanTara but if I can launch at BlueMoon Sat & Sun I wont need it. Thanks for all the info so far !!.

Hey Jeremey and Joel, this is John. Glad to see some interest in getting the eliminators together. By the way Jeremey your pics came out good, That little white boat in pic 9 looks familiar.
