Our crew will be coming to the shootout again this year. I hope to meet some of you down there. We will also be staying at Tan Tar a again this year.
rockit man , by the way, your screen name is the name of my boat.
My buddy that is bring his 26 Daytona, won 2 years ago at 120. He just put it together and was hitting the rev limiter, but it was good enough to win. The 24ft HTM that flipped probably would have beat him though.
Last year I think the guy that won that class was running 140, but that doesn't mean he will be there this year. Also I remember that there was an issue where the baot that won should have been in another class because it was a 27 or 28, but I don't remember the details.
See ya down there! Rockie

Just got back from my first trip to loto. Thursaday was great, friday got ruff and saturday was OH **** !!!!!! saturday was not a place for a 27 daytona. Party cove was a good place to sit though. Are lake patrol always that bad? I seen 8 under the bridge around 6 pm saturday. They stopped everyone it seemed. They stopped me and ask to see a life jacket for my kid. They were nice but aggressive.

gsmith9898, It gets really rough there. Makes my 28 seem like a tonka toy.
Greg, I still have the same one. My wife says I can't get new fiberglass until I buy or build a house at the lake next to my garage. My wife and kids will be along this year, so my schedule will be changing some. Should be around Tan-Tar-A more. See you there.
