What kind of speeds will a Daytona 28 TD with stock 454 mags(385 hp EFIs) see in good chop? And how big of water can it handle?

In perfect conditions it should do 81-83mph
as far as water it can handle, All depends on the conditions. It should handle some pretty rough water as long as the driver doesnt get carried away. All these cats handle rough water once ya learn to drive em. Its taking me roughly a year to get a good ride outta mine at LOTO and its a 25 daytona. But I am looking to go bigger.

So back to the original question. A 28 will run 80+ with 454s and step over some rough water. But how big? Most of the time I run in 2-3' washing machine slop which I know this boat would chew up. But I do get out in the bigger water where I can see 4'+ slop and some 5-6' rollers. Can this boat deal with the rollers like a deep V?
