The 27 is very stable at those speeds. You do need to watch the water for side rollers but you need to do that in every boat. My 22 Daytona ICC has run 127 and it is also super stable. That is my buddys boat in the picture. I can out drag race him easily but when the water gets rough, he is gone. Are you going to do your own wrenching? I have someone close to you who might be a buyer on the Illmore and could do the complete transformation. He is a Eliminator dealer and very experienced in the high performance side.

Here is a pic of my 22 speedo and a video of the speed on my 100mph speedo. I think mine is the fastest new 22 that has been built.

$12-$15k for the imor complete with headers. Probably not the answer you want to hear but that is what the last two here in So Cal have sold for. they had about 120 hours on each motor.

I am most likely better off keeping the motor and seeing what happens with the economy. I might be better off selling the motor locally and doing the install. I am trying to justify buying another toy and trying to sell off the parts to make it work with little out of pocket. I should know better..

Here is a article showing about that speed with same motor and a labbed 32. I think the boat had some people in it too. i wish the article went into a little more detail.
Does anyone have a cabin shot? Is there any room in there at all or just storage?

sounds like I have an issue or was lied to. I run a labbed 32 bravo prop on a imco shorty,"gears unknown" with what I was told a 500 efi converted to a 540 cu. in. with a procharger pushing 8lbs with 60 lb injectors, was told the motor was 960 HP. 5800 rpms gets me 98 MPH, 4 people on board with half full of fuel.
