25 Daytona Pics?
#1
Does anyone have any pics of the 25 cuddy? I am thinking of getting a cat and so far the only one in that size range with a cuddy is the 26 Awesome. I have to have at least a small cuddy and can't find any pics of whats under the 25 deck. Thanks. Also how well does it handle the rough, I have a Baja 25 outlaw now.

i have a 25 daytona with the bow cutout (not a walk thru). the cuddy area under the deck is good for coolers and junk and thats about it. not enough head room for any seats, etc like in an htm or a deep v....
crawling under the deck to get to the front is o.k. for kids etc. but after a weekend of crawling around i have rug burns on my knees!!!! i just go over the top....
it works great for me but if your looking for more under the deck...a highr profile model might be a better choice..
i'll try and click some pics this weekend if your interested..

although there is a massive amount of flat space under the deck of my 25,I wouldn't really call it a cuddy cabin.head space varies from about 36 inches at the dash to about 26 at the front bulk head.sleeping would be no problem but the headache form sitting up quickly when you wake up is a *****.Fine for the occasional overnighter but as a weekend camper,I would have to say NO.There is no cabin door, very little head space requiring crawling in and out.You cannot sit up under the deck unless you happen to be about 3 feet tall
As far as rough water handling, what do you consider rough. It eats up 2 to 3 foot wind chop like nothing. In a fall poker run on a large lake last year, waves were 4 to 6 feet, steep and erratic,no real pattern.the boat did not like it at all.I was spending more time off the stick than on,no matter how I trimmed or throttled,it was just bow launch after bow launch. It is definately an awsome lake boat, just not a "Great Lakes" boat.
I would compare it to driving a water born corvette where as your current ride, much like my power play was like driving a suv on steroids.
Would I go back to a mid size V hull? NOPE,not gonna happen unless I move to a place where ocean or Great Lake boating is the only option.
I hope this answers some of your questions.

Thanks for the replies guys, It looks like the Awesome is the way to go. I love the Eliminator but must have a cuddy (wife and small child) I'm just looking at all my options before I make the move to a cat.
