to be quite honest with you i don't really know how fast my boat will actually go, before i upgraded to the whipple 8.3 blowers i was running the quad rotor blowers and each motor was 1100hp and i had the boat to 160mph 1 time. Since I've rebuilt the motors with the 8.3 blowers I've only had it up to about 150mph but obviously there was much more left. Ive always been worried about a drive blowing up on me at those high speeds and i end up backing off, I just received a new set of the imco scx -4 surface drives so I'm sure il be a lot more confident to do a top end speed run this spring.
Eliminator is the ones who are building the new hatch and they are also building me all brand new interior, plus I'm in the middle of re-building both motors with new everything except for the fact that I powder coated the blowers black and I'm re-using them. I will have the boat all back together by may 15th and its gonna be just like having a brand new boat when its all done. I can't wait!

I love the clear hatches... DCBs been doing that alot lately...

Yours looks amazing... Love it..!!

I wonder if they get dirty from the engine heat etc?.... I've never looked at them closely.. They look sweet though.

my friend has a m35 and he's had no problems with engine heat causing any discolouration, come to think of it I've opened my old hatch many times after running my boat hard and I've never felt any sort of heat come out from under hatch, every things always been cool to the touch as well.

Looks great. Any issues with blower belt dust sticking to them?
