Default 28's with T-496HO's?

Are there any 28's running around with stock 496 HO power? Curious as how they run and what you guys think of them...

V bottom or Cat?
several of the 28 cat's with 496 ho's will touch 100mph. My 30 cat with twin 496's ran a best of 94mph and thats with an open bow. They lack a little in low end but once up and running performance wasnt so bad.

My first elim was a 28' 2007 Elim Daytona ICC w/496 HO's. Ran great. Performed best with 5 blade props - had some trouble getting out of the hole with 4 blades. No issues w/the 5 blades. Ran mid to high 90's every day...broke 100 occassionally.

Definitely an enjoyable package - loved it so much (this was my first perfoamance boat), I went all in and bought the 36' coupe I have now.

Good luck!

I knew of 28' Daytona with 496HO's that had CMI headers and it would sniff 110 mph.
