Appreciate your post regarding the Skaters. Sounds a little more like the real thing. All that I have ever heard about Skater is good, better and great and that is not only from owners, also other boat conpanys..
Myself, I think that there might have been a few other things about the original posts that may have been also streached a little, but that s boating!!
Im sure that if I ever was to get a ride on a skater, I would want one and I bet that I could stand the wait somehow knowing that I am getting the best.Understand, I like my eliminator but I understand that Im not in the same class as Skater~~I still play the lottery and keep hoping....

Jean,
I would like to clarify a point. My Spectre does in fact have a factory installed potty. I believe on the bill of sale it was listed as a tunnel tab. As we both know, this doubles quite well as a potty when needed.

Shawn,
I have an after-factory potty. It doubles as a red cup. Beware whenever you are offered a drink from my boat!

Jean,
I was not trying to put Skater or any other boat brand down. I thought you guys were down 3 weekends. I know for sure Bud was down at least that. If it was only once my apologies. The BS I refered to was how consistently Peter seems to bump people out of his production line when higher rollers and/or racers need something. Poor Bud was bumped 3 time in the 18 months it took to get his boat. You all bought your boat from a guy who had already bumped another person we know down the line. You guys have a great boat. I was looking for new and had no intention of waiting 18 months or longer while those closer to Peter bumped me back.

I thought the tunnel tab was an expensive name for a boarding step.

Ron,
No apology necessary. You have a beautiful boat and I certainly understand why you are so proud of it. I was just trying to set the record straight regarding Skater.

To that end, I phoned Bud to get the scoop. He told me that, no, he was never bumped and, yes, his boat was delivered ahead of schedule. However, he also told me that Mr. Hledin made it clear that all race boat orders take first priority. So, who knows? The point is that Peter Hledin was honest and up-front, no BS.

I'm looking forward to another great season of boating on the Bay!

HI to everyone........just was cruising the site and thought I would stop a the "Eliminator" page and low and behold...there is a nice string of posts for a change.
Yes, my 33 ft cat is still for sale........the wife and I are not ordering our 36 ft cat yet..........we tried that a year and a half ago and had to turn down the last minute order final due to not selling the boat at the time. It has taken a lot longer that any other boat that I have had. Probably due to the economy. Did try to go to the pics page but can't get in.......just high class people
As RonFlagCat says.........we did use to trailer to Erie.....but after last year.....we find alot nicer to trailer to the Upper Chesapeake. You as boat there.......it's not like the lake ........when you get there it could flat to 6-7 footers or even more.......which make a bad day for boating
