How different is the excalibur of the 80's different from the one in 2000?

The only thing similar is the spelling of the name. We are talking about two 100% different boats.

Question about a 21' Excaliber late 80's est date. with an o/b. (( I was offered a late to mid 1980's 21' Excaliber with a 250 efi, recently, super clean,forsale pretty cheap guy needs $ fast and all origional looks like a Sleekcraft. )) anyone know how these boat handle, ride, problems or things I should look for on the hull / transome ?
