I don't know what the top end is yet but we are doing 71-72 in the pictures. This is only the third time I have had it out and I am still learning to drive (trim angle, rpm,3ft chop,etc).
It does like large chop though, I had it airborn at 50mph running with the waves this weekend and yes we did get wet
but had lots of fun.

What kind of engines did you have .What gearing,props and finally
what was your average top speed. I am running 1.53 ratio 502 tranys with 13% overdrive with 23 pitch props X 17 inch diameter and I hit the rev limiters at 6000 . My engines are 454 ls6s with 10 to 1 compression rollerized,gill manifolds with dry exhaust been modified to look wet.(noise rules). I have just installed 27 pitch X17.5 props but haven't had it in the water to test yet.
