24' who's got one

Bravo three, as in counter-rotating props? -- How tall is that drive compared to a bravo - as in how much higher of an x demension will you need, or is it the same? I figured they were taller to allow for larger diameter props because they are meant for heavy cruiser types - I would think it might be hard/expensive to dial in the right prop sizes because no one is using the pitch you are going to need -- because in most applications that drive doesn't usually see anything over 50-65 mph.....

Figured that was reason - the Bravo I put on my 24 came from a burned up boat with only two seasons on it - $1,500, but I had to take whole boat carcus - landfill here takes em if under 20' - I just cut 4 ft of bow off - sold $500 in engine parts, so nice drive and transom assembly was only 1k! Found that deal by chance - sure would like to know how to find those deals on purpose...................
