The hell of it is, when I look at that boat, it's the one that gets me worked up. I've already bought a 30' Sutphen. I've saved the out drives and the nice transom assemblies that I bought from Zanie. It kills me to dump the engines and superchargers, but it's best for me to move on. I see many people on here rebuilding boats in worse shape, but I have neither the time to do it myself or the stomach to spend the resources to pay someone else to do it. I made a few critical mistakes along the way, the worst of which was probably not walking away when I realized what I had.
I'm just a sucker for old school performance boats.
The seller sends me nasty emails every couple of years for besmirching his good name in this thread .

Well, he knew what was wrong with it and if he didn't tell you he was wrong, wrong. If your telling the truth tough for him. I would like to have the hull mine was John Carbonell's old race boat Kevlar hull three man bolster. Charlie put it up on HORBA P-24. I bought it from a man who got it from a DEA aution in 1985. I love Bill Farmer's Excalburs that is why it would kill me to know you chained sawed it, so please keep me in mind, I'm in VA not to far from Richmond really just down the street from you. Chris

Someone will pick up the boat on Ebay. I'm listing it with the trailer and new upholstry for no reserve and maybe a $100 starting bid.
I could faintly see where the gel coat was shinier from vinyl lettering the name Mike Cialdella. It was very hard to make out the letters. I wondered if it had been raced.

Um, how could it not sell if the starting bid is $100 and there is no reserve? One bid @ $100 is all it takes, but that surely wouldn't be what happens
Robert, make sure you post a link here when you list it.

Dan,
Will do. As soon as I get the titles down to the shop they're going to list it. I retrieved the outdrives, transom assemblies, gimbal housings and such the other day and picked up the superchargers. He had listed the superchargers on Ebay, but I had him pull it and decided to keep them.
The engines are here:
