Default Raising the X on a 24

Just trying to decide whether to raise the TRS on my 24. We are redoing the transom and I wonder if its worth the effort. Has anyone done this?

Cheers,

Andy

I did it with my 24'. Mine had an early alpha. I went up 2". Made a difference. TRS is alot of drive for that boat.

I think its a very good idea. Mine is a trs also and its way too deep. The boat likes a ton of trim and would respnd very nicely to a higher x with less trim.

Thanks for the replies. I guess we'll raise it two inches and see what happens.

Mine was also a TRS. I never really paid attention to the X dimension. I just ran the p*** out of it. It would run around 70 or so, and I was happy with it. It did have a 1" spacer in the drive, as well. I would buy another if my budget ever gets back to "normal"
