Shane, I spoke to dave a few weeks ago... and I gotta agree w/ you, i thought the vortec would be faster.
He also was talking about the drag of the canopy taking away speed.
Anyway... I'm not too sure Extreme will be selling the boat with much more than the 496.
BTW... I'd love to see the 29 when its all done.
I think its the best looking 29 sitdown there is.

Do you have any in-water running shots of the 29 yet? The canopy boat looks awesome running and I'm looking forward to seeing what the open cockpit boat looks like when it's churning up the water.
Is this particular boat for sale? Dare I ask how much?

Someone buy that boat! Get it out on the race course, it will definately be competitive and Dave has done a great job finishing it. I can't wait to get my turn behind the wheel....its always good to know what the competition is running
