so can you sand and clear gelcoat mines 4 colors and its a 88 its not faded bad put could use a paint job or clear if that would work??? anyone

I would probably single stage if colors are solid and base/clear before just clearing. The scuffing marks (made by sanding) will be magnified in clear if no base is applied or you may experience a color change or irregular pattern. The prep is the same and your results will be known if you reapply color. Just my .02
