Default wet stringer

How much would you worry about a "wet" stringer? The guy says that it will pass a survey though????

He said that yes he knows how the water got in. What would a good and a bad percentage be?

10-12% would be about the highest it could be and still pass. Beyond that is considered excessive. Also define just what "passing" is, if it is his surveyor it may be biased.

Bigboat28, one thing about it your in Ohio Dave will fix it right up for you. Get a price from Dave to fix and have seller take it off the price. Then everybody wins, when Daves done you will know exactly what you got. He does awesome work well worth the travel time.
