I don't know if the pad on this thing is big enough for what you are doing but these Festool sanders work very well with almost no dust

I don't understand your tips, why are they 45 degrees to each other?

There more at a 55 degree, But i did that because im bringing my two exhaust tails into this one tip in the middle of the tramsom ofver the drive. just somthing custom that on one has.

What a nice job you have done so far.

It is really a shame to have to get it in the water.

I think you should just keep it for show, and polish it once complete, and pick up another boat as a driver !

LOL thanks B.B.T. Well i just got done making my grab handle and bracket plate for my roll up cabin door. and all i have to say is polishing raw stanless and making it look like chrome is a pain in the a$$ lol but it looks good

R77,

Could you elaborate on the roll up cabin door?............I would really not like to go the "typical wooden hinged door route whern I get to that part of my magnum restoration.
You do excellant work!................would everything need to be custom in order to replicate?..................by the way, what's your first name?.................thanks, Pete

Thanks Pete, I know what you mean not wanting a old style wooden door. Yes everything is custom hand made/fabricated but its really not that hard to do. if you like you can call me and i can elaborate so you can replicate, or just pm me your # and ill give you a call. i just fit the handle on the door and it work/looks AWESOME!!
