Well, I decided to switch head from the steel merlins on the engine to some anodized aluminum pro 1 heads. We should see some extra horse from those, with proper tuning we're hoping to be around 1100 horse 1175 tq. We're also adding a canton racing 2qt oil accumulator. Water testing of the boat will be next tuesday.

arneson is on the boat but we're having some more issues that are holding back the water testing. The engine and tranny simply won't mate up, we have a shaft that is just too long so it's hopefully that will be taken care of tomorrow. But more importantly the arneson drive has required my engine be mounted at a different angle. So the exhaust no longer lines up with the holes in the transom. We don't have any rubbers connecters or anything like that. It was all custom made by imco with solid tubing from the headers back, produced while the boat was at their facility. So it will have to go back. We can salvage the gatlin mufflers but we will need them to redo everything to fit.

We now hope to be in the water fri or sat.
