I take it you don't own a Formula. The Porter family (owners or Formula) average about 5'-2" I think because my bolster is like way too close for me. Of course, I'm 6-2 with more gut than I need

I would just do what Scarab said, set 'em up for your optimal comfort. If you sell, nobody is going to pass on the purchase because the bolsters aren't just right for them. It's your boat, make yourself comfortable.

I wish I had the opportunity to have input on the positioning of my bolsters. And if I was in the position you are in, I would put them where they are more comfortable for me.
