That's ok. Whenever you get a chance.

You're off tomorrow too?
We get every other Friday off. Makes it nice to have a scheduled three day weekend. Even better when a Monday holiday falls on the same weekend.

tahoeguy and outlaw,

How did you prep the rubrail prior to applying the Krylon? How did you prep the hatches? Sanded? Primer? The result looks great. Would like to do same to my 292, bring it up to more current looks. Thanks for the info in advance.

Looks Great. I've been thinking about painting the hatch's on my 357SR1. Did you paint the glass also?

I just thoroughly cleaned the rub rail four times with "contac cement" cleaner. I have quite a few nicks and digs in the rub rail and would like to put a new white one one, but for now this works okay for me. The flat white also helps hide the "imperfections" better than the black did.

Same with the hatches and yes I painted the glass. Be sure to mask off the surrounding areas thoroughly, cause I got a little overspray on through the newspaper I used and that stuff is a bit(h to get off. If you're going to use newspaper, use at least four layers or two double pages, whatever.

You do have to touch the rub rail up from time to time but it's not really too much hassle. More than worth it for the "new look" as far as I'm concerned.

Here's a couple of different shots of "Outlaw". Sorry, the one was taken with the sun in the wrong spot.
