Well I did some painting this winter so I figured I would post some pics to report my progress. I wet sanded of the thick balck vinyl on the back and sides of the boat and It cam out quite well. I also painted the vents. hatches and horn with white krylon fusion paint and I think it looks 10 times better now. also the rubrail is now white. what you think?

Looks nice.
I like the way the white rub rail looks.
Hmmmm....Now you're giving me ideas.
I like the basic color combo mine is but the black rub strip is just too much black. Something to think about.
Question....could you measure the inside opening of your deck hatches?
Mine didn't come with them installed and I'd like to put a pair on but don't know what size the originals were. I asked Formula about them but they refused to tell me because of liability concerns.

You painted the rub rail???? I like the white and was going to change mine to white but too much aggravation as I understand it's though bolted
. What brand of paint and where 'd you get it??

That's ok. No rush. Once I leave work I won't be back on-line until tomorrow anyway. But I appreciate you taking the time to look.
After Formula told me they couldn't tell me the size of the hatches I checked and found out why. The curent rules, new construction, dictate that the hatch must be large enough for an adult to climb through in an emergency.
I doubt the original ones on the F-206 are that big.

mopower, yes I painted the rubrail I put alot of coats on it and it seems very strong, just use fenders and you'd be ok you can always touch it up anyway...
and iggy yes they are very small, they are just big enough for me to squeeze my head out of!
