Im about to buy a new 40SS with the volvo 350hp Diesels. I just wanted to know if any one has one, and if they do is there anything i need to know good or bad before i do. Also is the Hard Top worth getting?

I've been on a couple of them, and was blown away by the acceleration, handling, cruise speed and fuel economy. From what I hear, it's a very popular engine option.

Hardtop sounds like a good idea. I know it is the way to go on most yachts...

I was on one with the hard top at the boat show. It was pretty nice, and I could stand under it (I think, was on so many boats..tough to remember), which is a plus for someone who is 6' 6".
