I'll be calling you in a month or two to hook me up with some Maximus wheels. No sense putting the $$$ into fixing the hydros when I really want some five blade round ears on the old girl

I noticed in the pics of your VERY NICE! boat, that you're spinning in. What's your call on that? Handle good/bad? Faster?

I'm also turning in. It takes a little more anticipation and finess in tight docking sutuations especially in windy conditions, but I have never noticed any ill-handling at speed and the wake is really flat like Troutly stated. I do not know if it made any difference in speed at WOT as the boat was set up this way when I bought it.

Crit, Bravos really blow on this heavy boat, especially with boxes. This is close, B1's are from Formula test, Hydros are actual.

John B, and Everybody else
Thanks lots for the information, it's been very helpful.
I think we are going to start out with a set of Labbed 28 x 15.25 Maximus and go from there. Based on the rpm numbers from the 28 Labbed B1s we've been running. the Maximus props should be pretty close to what we're looking for.

Re: 382 Prop suggestions
Is it better to turn the props in or out? I was told there is some speed advantages to turnning them out. Im running with them turning out on a 04 382 fastech with labbed 26 maximus.

Re: 382 Prop suggestions
Finally got a chance to test the Hydro P5X labbed and 27.5 pitch. This was in the Fla Keys on the Miami Boat Show Poker Run last weekend. With 6 people, bags and coolers plus 120 gallons of fuel, we ran for 10 miles experimenting with trim and ultimately hit 80.0 on GPS at 5380 +-on digital tacks. Total weight was probably 12600 lbs. I thought this was unbelievable for the weight. Only problem now is I need more pitch since we were just hitting the rev limiter. BTW the optimum trim was right about 7.
