Anyone know what the interior cabinets of the Fastech is made of? I'm referring to the white plexiglass like stuff that is around the TV and teh stereo as well as the bottom opening cabinets and doors. It looks like white plexiglass to me, but I'm not sure.

Has anyone tried cutting or modifying this stuff? I need to make the opening for my stereo bigger and want to know what I need to do before breaking out the jig saw.

The doors are a acrylic plastic. I have made a couple of doors out of this stuff and used a router to cut it. Worked very well.

where can it be bought ?

The stuff Formula uses is called Celcor, but it's basically Plexiglas (acrylic). 1/2" thick white is hard to come by, so I had Formula cut me a piece to the size I needed. (I'm installing a flat screen TV in a 382, and need to replace the entire panel.) Your local plastics supplier should be able to help you - let your fingers to the walking.

Sometime you can find pieces on eBay - it depends on how big a piece you need. If you need thinner panels, McMaster-Carr can supply it.

C-Spray, When you get done with your install, can we get thew details. I have my cabin tore all to hell righ now removing bow rail, cleats, etc. for paint...now would be the time for me to do the flat screen thing.

thanks for the info on the cabinet panels. I'm almost done with the functional stuff, then I'll start on the cosmetic. First I need to fix the panel around the stereo. Further down the list is an LCD TV and DVD player. I took some pics of an 06 382 at the boat show a couple of weeks ago with the LCD TV. I can post if anyone is interested.

I would be interested in knowing how you went about this also. Want to change mine over to flat panel, just havn't had the time or $$ to do it yet.
