What is bottom blueprinting entail? Never heard of this before.

Basically, it's putting a straight edge to the running surface of the hull and doing what's necessary to rid it of hook, imperfections, etc so you can get every last mph your hull is capable of. There are a few threads on this site that discuss blueprinting in detail (& have pics)... easily found via the search function.
