Anyone have pics of their aftermarket exhaust?
 

Anyone have any pics of their aftermarket exhaust setup on a 1987-1991 twin engine SR1 series Formula? I had a Stainless Marine exhaust put on my boat and just want to see how ya'll plumbed your water hoses! I wanted order the thermostat housings from Stainless, but they said there is no provision for the temperature and alarm sending units! :rolleyes:

I'm putting on new EMI Thunders on a '96 336sr1 w/525sc's. Routed hoses along left front.
Eddie had to make custom risers to replace the Gil set up. Should be done tomorrow from polisher. I'll put sum pics up when she's done..............

Thanks Treads! Looks great! That looks like a different thermostat housing than I have on my 1990 454 mags. I have 6 hoses coming out of my thermostat housing. Yours looks aftermarket. Where did you get it? I like the hoses with the blue lines on them too! :drink:

Here's a shot I found of mine: EMI Thunder and had to have custom alluminum billet spacers made up so they would line up with the holes. That was another $ 700.00....:eek:

Thanks Formula Outlaw :drink: :D Real happy witht the way it turned out. And to think the upgrade to stainless risers was a steal, since the black powder coated ones were on back order at the time. :cool:

Hey Outlaw, thanks for the pic! But, what I really wanted to see was how your themostat housing routes the hoses after the installation of the Eddie's!

Treads, thanks for the pics also! Where did you find the aftermarket thermostat housing, or was it already on the boat when you got it? Does it have a provision for the temperature sending unit AND the alarm?
