Sold the Spyder boat, need to re-order for Birminghham Boat Show. Will probrably do a 700 boat. Need opinions,Spyder or Blaze? I realize both designs are kind of a love it or hate it deal. Spyder might get more play in the local media (Spiderman boat is at the show!
)No poll her, just comments. For the record,I would do solid white exterior and interior, but what I like doesn't always sell.

on second thought...do you feel it is absolutely a requirement the boat have Platinum paint?
I mean a 382 in the Gold #3 in Bayport or Montego colors (with interior and sunpad colors) would be "just right", classy, and definitely more "hot rod" than "cartoon"...
The Blaze is the better choice of the 2, but I'm not big on unilateral one-sided paint designs. I think they screw up the lines of the boat.
but hey, what do I know?

The factory poker-run boat is IMHO the best formula I've ever seen, and with the perfect power. That would definitely be my pick!!! Matter of fact, I would probably talk to you about a Donzi trade if you had that one

Gold is beautiful, have a 353 on the way like the brochure 353,but historically, the 382,as the flagship Fastech, needs Platinum. Large majority of 382's are Platinum. High Voltage is great, but last year's design.I go thru this every year, would never question John Adam's genuis, just getting a little tired of all the orange and yellow.I wish John would attend some of the major poker runs and see the new silvers and blues and accents of greens and blacks a nd the new understated colors. In retrospect, maybe I should rethink silver and gold. John Buyer's 382 is silver grahics, and very classy.

classy and "stealthy" especially w/700's
a true "gentelman's hot rod"
I bet something like that would attract more attention than you think it would Robert.
I understand you have concerns it might not appeal to a broad audience...but does "spider"... really?

Last year we were close to getting Fastechs with the Sunsport's Flagship graphics, thought it was a great idea,I was ready to order a couple, but it was scuttled at the last minute. Maybe it's time for me to insist that I want a 382 in silver Flagship. I will try that idea next week

Jsut went to the Formula website to check out the available options. None of them really catch my eye. A solid color (silver, maybe a blue pinstripe) would look good though.
Of the ones listed I'll pic Gold Imron #2 Montego. The Platinums are either over the top or un-attractive. Remember, Formula's are the "gentlemans" sport boat...
