Default 382 vs 353 trailer set up

purchasing a trailer that was used for a 382 fastec for my 353. what changes should i expect to have to make for proper fitament. It s a loadmaster triple axle.

Should be pretty simple,aluminum trailers have long bunks that can extend way past the transom,or can just be sawed off. I would first put the boat on it as it is and check tongue weight. If it is about right you can leave it alone or saw off the bunks. If you have too much tongue weight move the boat back and move the winch stand back.Should work out fine.

I have a Loadmaster Tri-Axle for my 353, you should call the Loadmaster Office and ask for Gary Sr. He walked me through an adjustment over the phone on a Saturday morning. Great Customer Service.

I'm sure they can tell you what specifically needs to be adjusted to fit the 353.

thanks all i spoke with loadmaster and they said tongue weight should 5-6% of gross load. as far as set up got some info from them as well and will make adjustments in the spring...thanks again
