They looked metalic in nature to me. At least the hitch cover. I'll call Reggie on the hot line and report back. I'm sure if they are plastic it's to reduce weight and enhance performance. He's on top of everything.

I think that I'm getting one for xmas, if so I'll report back with my opinion of the thing, although for the price I never would have bought it for myself.

I just got mine,it's very classy,solid stainless steel. Since Formulas are heavy boats,it make sense that the cover is also heavy,right?

I know a Guy who's gotta have a Guy that can do that cheaper.........he's even a Formula Guy. Only problem is I think he's only setup for 353 Fastech........Feliz Navidad

not to worry ...I'm sure he's got a 'bird "guy" somewhere in that collection.

get him together with the "stainless guy"
and the "laser guy"
give yet another shot to the "welder guy"

and shazam!

reward them with golf shirts from the embroidery "guy"...
