looking to get another formula 303 or 312 opinions?

Good luck. As I looked at them closely at one time I'll throw a couple things out there...
There's a little more nose on the Wellcraft. It's about 1'8" longer bottom than the 312.
The rigging is about the same, pretty nice, using most of the same vendors.
Very nice lines, and stance in the water.
Dash layout is excellent with the same concave shape as the 38'.
The bolsters are good, though there had been issues with stitching coming apart.
The swim platform size and shape is very similar.
Freeboard is about the same.
Headroom similar.
The cabin is very simply done.
Typically don't find bowrails/sternrails on these boats. They were an option not often spec'd.
Just the one deck hatch I think.
It was tight at the helm for me, but I'm 6'6" 230.
If I remember the bolstered backseat was just the backpanel, not involving the seat itself or the sunpad...probably pretty easily dealt with for a change.
I'll bet fully 1/3 or more of these boats had that backseat.
Not alot of the "niceties" of the Formula throughout but...
a slightly bigger, better rough water boat than the 312 that probably wieghs about the same but is slightly faster with the same power.
Powerboat raved about this boats' capabilities more than once.
I have never heard of a construction issue with that boat.
The steps on the 33 AVS were pretty agressive and there were some spins/rolls...
but we don't need to have that discussion. It's been had too many times.

Damn man your easier to find out info than Google.
Thanks for the extra Info, Im also talking with another previous 33 AVS owner that I know down at our lake. He sold one that I was looking at previously. I loved the color scheme on it alot better but I still had my Cat at the time. Its been a hard decision to go back to a V after owning my cat but thats a discussion for another day. just like the spin outs of the step hulls.
