give or take I think like 11-12K retail on 353
they are cool to look at out of the water, and add a couple MPH in most cases
but they do require maintenence and a watch for leaks
as well as they can be a PITA hanging around the back of the boat
kind of a wash. If they are there take 'em but I wouldn't place much if any additional boat value in them.

Definitely a learning process, keep looking and keep good people around for advice. I probably have total trust in the opinions of about 5 boat related people, 3 of which I share a boathouse with, one a local dealer here who's never led me astray, and one guy in Alabama who's hopefully got his eyes open for me.
What did happen to the Donzi Rick had comming in late last fall? Or are you just on a Formula search now?
Notice I did not mention any of the "beaked" variety.
