help i think i a leak.,...mm.m. I currently am in the midst of summerizing my boat. the motor is a 1991 454 volvo penta and water seems to have made its way out of the intake gasket and onto the motor . lucky me it is not into the motor but i want to resolve the problem quickly and easily without making a huge dilema. also the impeller is bad and i do believe it is on the front of the motor.

If you're seeing it ON the motor, there's a good chance it's also going INTO the motor. Replace that intake gasket ASAP before you run it any more. Then, no matter what, swap the oil.

i did not see it in the motor oil and i could see it where it was coming out. but i think i will do the gasket right away and an impeller.
