Many 292 Fastechs out there do not have hydraulic steering. I think it came standard on the model with Scorpion engines.
My 292 Fastech has a WPM Racing steering system and I am very happy with it, but that was fitted by a previous owner.
If I were in the market for a 292 Fastech I would look for one with hydraulic steering and Captains call exhaust.

I could be wrong, but i think 03 was the last year Formula offered hydraulic steering on the 292 as an option. I haven't seen it listed as an option on the 292 in the catelogs for the past few years.

Split Decision, are you saying it may be neither included nor available as an option? That would be a mistake by Formula IMO.

The hydraulic steering is an option, not standard. It only comes with a tie bar, which is listed as a standard. Since I couldn't sell mine, I am having hydraulic steering put on right now, should be done soon. And it is still for sale.

What did that run if you don't mind me asking. And what system did you use Thanks

With the extra cost of the steering, I was thinking the asking price would be about 85,500.
I boat on the upper chesapeake. I think that it has less than 200hrs.
I opted for IMCO's steering package, as it seemed to be more afordable than most.
