I have the black lexan on both sides. Right next to each battery. There's a couple short jumpers to the studs on the lexan from the battery.

Hey Oreokid don'y you wanna move up to a 272 lol

I wouldnt mind a 272:) I just love working on them and making them look good and when they run as good as they look Im happy.
So what do you think with these batteries. Use the one stud for the negative and the other stud as the positive for one the batteries and direct wire the bilge pump to that positive battery? Thanks everyone. Jed |
The lexan/stud assemblies give you a place to attach all the ground and power wires without pulling them to the battery. If you are going to run the battery switch then it should be between the battery and the stud so you can turn the battery off completely. You should run a fused positive directly to the battery from the bilge pump switch for safety when the batteries are turned off.
