It's a capillary line for the water pressure. I fixed it today after I saw that picture.

...and the last details finished underneath. Coolant tanks back in and the starboard door on the new diamond plate platform.

Those of you with keen eyes may have noticed that I did indeed find and install replacement stickers on the flame arrestors. (I dare you to try and find some of those babies.)

Back to the marina tomorrow, and a few final touchup jobs.

Phew.......

Special thanks to:
  • My wife, for tackling so many difficult, dirty, and "tedious" jobs and doing them so well. ...and putting up with me.
  • Treads, for a loaner trailer, free of charge.
  • RAddiction, for several days and nights of help.
  • Sox, also for several days and nights of help.
  • KnotNormal, for a loaner dually for only the cost of fuel.
  • <edit>Bobby Moore, for his infinite knowledge and first-class advice.
  • <edit>Budz Motorsports, for a 3-day turnaround on my cyinder heads!
  • My paint shop guys, for tackling a big project down to the smallest detail.
  • Formula Boats (especially Daryl Johnson and Chuck Miller), for building a boat worthy of the effort, and for having an answer to every question I came up with.
  • Innovation Marine and Volvo Penta for first-rate technical support on out-of-production engines.
  • Hamilton Marine, for having almost all the plumbing stuff I needed, and getting it to me quickly.
  • McMaster-Carr, for having just about everything else I needed, usually in 316 stainless, not charging me double for putting it on a boat, and for having it to me the next day every time!
  • And especially to all the OSO Formula brethren for your invaluable enthusiasm, advice and support!!

Great job Chuck!!! You amaze me with the way you handled this project. I don't think I know anyone as organized and focused as you. You handled so much without ever losing your cool and always with a great attitude and a smile on your face. Your engeneering talents show in every detail and unlike most engeneers I know, your engeneered designs all work! I wish I had the patience, organizaton, and mechanical ability you have.

Congratulations to you and Dianne, I know you BOTH worked very hard on this and you both did a fine job.

Now lets break out some WINE!!!

Take care,

Rob
