The boat looks great too! I love the grey! RAddiction - No boating on 6/21-22, but we'll be out next weekend. Got any suggestions? Still working on the DVD/Stereo/Chartplotter interface.... |

C_Spray- Would you know if the bulbs in an 02 292 would be the same size that were in your 382? Looking to order the same LED's for mine.
|
Split - Very likely. Have a look at posts #222 and #223. The oval fixtures use the miniature wedge-base bulb, and the gunwale compartments just have a bare fixture that uses the T90/1142-style bulb. Expect to get them quickly - 4 days or less!

Thanks C Spray. Will take a look at them this weekend. Probably order them on Monday.

Gave the new water plumbing arrangement a accidental workout Saturday. We got into some grass so heavy that it packed one lower unit SOLID. I cleaned out both strainers after getting free, but one engine would just not build water pressure, so we spent an hour and 45 minutes idling back to the marina on one engine. Even though I could back-flush the system with a garden hose, it still wasn't enough. We wound up pulling the boat out Sunday morning and digging the weeds out with a piece of coat hanger with a hook bent on the end of it. I disconnected the water feed hose from the top of the drive and blasted it with the marina's water hose (b-i-g pressure) from one direction and then the other until we finally got it all out. The pile was 6" in diameter and 4" high!!!! After that, it was fine, and we had a great day on the Susquehanna Flats on Sunday. :ernaehrung004: The good news is that the increasing areas of grass are good news for Chesapeake Bay, but there is still a long way to go. |
