Depends on the hp and torque peak of your engines. Generally, you want to prop for WOT about 1000 rpm over your torque peak. I am set up with Stellings boxes, Max Machine beefed XR drives, and 650 h.p. 600+ ft/lbs torque. I am still turning stock 28 Bravo props at 5400 rpm and 83-85 mph.
I think you would regret turning more than the above power in a Bravo 382 ... you will be breaking drives regularly. Not worth it in my opinion. If you feel a need to go faster, best have a look at some of the 382's that have been converted to Arneson drives.

arneson are my second year plan, I built the darts at 8:1 compression more power down the road. right I will dance lightly with some kind of brovo set up, xr/imco? for 08 poker season. motors peak torque at 743 @5400. 782@6300rpm. don't idol worth a damn, but sound cool!
