Next chapter................ The Biotch is out of the water and likely done for the season. Went to HBW today and had Bob pull it out for a final cleaning then Steve and I drained it down and put the anti-freeze to the engines. Did take a final rip down to Iornside and back, came back into the speed zone a little hot, just hated to back it down and call it quits.

Winterizing these closed cooling 525s is a breeze, gotta love all this new high tech chit.

The Bird is in the barn. Just took it over last night. All styled, dialed, and ready for a long sleep. Just hate the fact that they at the storage facility will be moving it around as they fit others in. Really bothers me when someone else is maneuvering my rig around in tight quarters. But, 10 bucks a foot in nice barns with concrete floors and no critters is a pretty good deal.

Although it's sad that the summer is gone (where the heck did it go?) it feels good to have the boat totally done and clean and away so I can think about other things.

Just went out last weekend and dialed in the .270 and the 30-06. The Browning '06 Auto laid in 4 shots at 100 yds at just a tad over 1" group - with factory ammo!!!! That's pretty damn good!! I'm ready to snipe a big buck. Gotta dial in the freakin' muzzle loader now. Thing shoots like crap. Just got a scope for it, maybe that will help. Not impressed with that smoke pole.

Any other hunters/shooters out there?

Yup you can count me in on that group. Got a cheap old 06 for the UP (Upper Peninsula for you non michiganders) – have a 20 acre hunting camp up there awesome hunting. Stuck with a 12 gauge around my neck of the woods.

So 2 down for the season I guess they just don't make boaters like they use too

Day trip planned for Sat

Al,
Just something about bundling up for boating that doesn't turn me on. If it's not summer hot, I don't really get into it.
