Earlier in the thread there was talk about pulling the boats for the winter well to those of you who did nananana yesterday 81 degrees - made a nice 100-120 mile run from lexington down to the north channel and back to port huron didn't even need to bundle up. Put on the lab finished prop and hit 68mph The weather should be there today and tomorrow if your lucky enough to still be afloat .

81 is too warm......I'm going to wait till it gets down around 30 and spits some snow to put it back in for a last blast. Should be good to go around the end of November.

Winterizing these closed cooling 525s is a breeze, gotta love all this new high tech chit.
So I guess those new high tech gizzmos make it so easy to rewinterize ehh so much for the previous post

You're just hoping for that cold air induced extra one mph!

Winterizing the closed cooling set up is all of 15 minutes for the pair, if you take your time.

Is that the one where you have a sharder valve that you attach a hand pump too and fill it with air? Mine has this set up, but looking at all the lines and the routing I question the ability to get all of the water out so I opt for the antifreeze treatment. Although if I were to trust it I could save about 80 bucks.
