Well you have been known to leave out some details in the past.

Like they say...........Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me.

You can tell your pal that GPS is fine with me, as long as it's legit. And adding a little foam to some of the sunpad doesn't really constitute a re-upholstery job, anymore than his super ILD mattress deal means his Formula one was dog chit and failed. Wet sanding out a couple scratches, buffing and waxing? Due strictly to pride of ownership, about 14 years from now he'll understand that concept, if my math is right.

The paint? Well it is what it is, being fixed and not on my dime either. From what I understand a lot of builders are experiencing the same issues, and some are far more expensive brands than I have. Hopefully Greg can put and end to the problem, Larry tells me his is fine since Greg worked on it. Same paint but a different clear, that I used on the Velocity and was never an issue there. Who knows. I guess it's no different than engines, some run well and stay together, some chit out, some chit out more than once. I guess sometimes chit happens, must just be a part of human nature, you think? I kinda look at it that way, really what other choice do you have? Place blame on everyone associated with the deal? Consider them all stupid ignorant buttheads that haven't a clue what they're doing? Maybe I'm wrong here, you tell me.

Hardly , a few blisters that need to be fixed. And then a few graphic upgrades that I've been thinking of doing may be worked in as well. I would actually do the chit myself and have one of my brothers guys shoot it but the compressor at the storage building is not up to the task, so it's off to Kolor Craft in Syracuse early next week.

Paint blistering off it like the Velocitys?

That's a shame and suprising considering it really hasn't spent that much time sitting in the water.

as far as the matress...at 6'5" and 240 lbs. I needed a little more to be comfortable than the "pads" most all perf boats come with in the berth.

comfort not necessity.
nothing was flapping in the wind or blistering off the original.

For a minute there I thought I was going to have bring up the old "still have original paint and upolstry card" not bad for a 20+ year Formula.

Can a Fountain achieve that?

Things that make you want to go hmmmmm .....

we won't go through that again Dave...

we excavated the entire area after these pics.

there must have been fifty 100lb. limestone fieldstones in there, Marian told me there would be...not to mention the huge foot thick slabs of old rebared foundation they used for cornerstones to set that building on. Ball busta!

so wet, so much water running down that hill towards the drainage on the north side

had the tractor stuck much, much more than once.

good thing stone is very, very cheap

Some crusher run then inch-and-a-half in the new area a foot deep, with another 40+ ton of 3/4 minus to surface the entire top half of the new area, the drive to the building, and the top half of the circle.

that 3/4- chinks in hard... hard to disturb once it's set.
we'll do the two remaining pieces of the circle to the road in the spring.

not too bad for an RN, a radiology guy, an Allis farm tractor/loader, my Sunstar and hyd. dozer blade, and Matt's old single ax Chevy dump truck.

All the fill was able to go right across the road to Rick's as he's filling out back for his ever busier wrecker/salvage car hauling business.

inexpensive... one front tractor tire repair (nails) and a burst loader hose yesterday.
some fuel, food, window tint, and a set of them homemade flaps.

Hoping to get to finish stripping the metal building before it turns cold for good
so all I have to do in the spring is wash it down with TSP and paint it.
