yea, the historical preservation/restoration grants can be pretty juicy depending on where you are.

That 200 year old limestone house on Main St. in B'ville is going to be getting some serious cosmetic and structural restovation.
It's more about preserving the structure, they really don't care about useage.
The process (like any gubermint program) is a lengthy PITA tho.

I think you missed on this one, you were on the go home and put the job behind you program. My comment has nothing to do with your investments.

Potsdams original downtown reno program was not a grant freebie deal. Basis was min of 20% owner cash in first, max 40% bank loan, and max 40% Village UDAG funds at about 2% less than bank rate. No loan term, bank or UDAG, to exceed 10 years. 100% control of facade to Village for 10 years, you did not put a push pin in it without their consent.

Their recent round was a grant deal, no pay back, up to 50% of project with 50% owner cash in first. I was offered early dibbs on this one. But passed because the program did not allow sale of the property for a 10 year period. Sale of the property triggered a pay back clause of the grant funds. Also restricted you in terms of contractor choice, and required wage structure on the project.

Not at all, the transom was full of water and rotted out, but the paint was perfect.

Event video can be included on request at no charge. Watch the Bite Me Fountain Boy take on the World Class throttle man, Super Bird Dave, in a match of high risk on the waters of the mighty St. Lawrence River. See Super Bird Dave finish a race, a World Class First ever event, finish that is, though sadly not the first finisher. Watch as Bite Me Fountain Boy takes up the challenge even after being sternly told by Super Bird Dave of the dangers of trying to run near the World Championship race boat. Also available to all race fans for $9.99 a copy. Great for gift giving, and a big LOL LOL with friends and family. Available @ Bite Me Fountain Boy.com/wannaberacergetsspanked/lollollol-biteme
So let me get this straight...You raced the Activator on the River? I don't recall that. Doug took a friend of his for a ride in the race boat and I served as a chase boat for him.

But you should hang that win on the wall!!

HEADLINES: 35 Fountain w/ twin 525's (8500lbs) beats 27' Activator with a SINGLE 525 (5100 lbs) in a straight line, in calm water, with NO other boats around! Sounds like a race to me!

I'd be proud of that! Might as well add a 24' Baja with a 350 Mag in as well...or how about a 190 open bow SeaRay. So many boats...so little time.

As for the dangers of running next to the race boat...I've heard of and seen too many accidents where people get hurt and killed while testing. We take testing very seriously. Full gear and a chase boat. I asked you to give them room, because they can't see you. Since you have never raced a boat...You don't know. Don't even start with the poker run crap either. Until you have been in a race boat, in a race situation...Your comments are WORTHLESS!!

Dave (the faster of the two!)

Damn, you go to DC to congratulate O'Bama for a few days and the thread jumps 7 pages. Let me slice this from a new angle. When I bought the Donzi I had an issue with the top deck and prior to delivery the boat was sent to Kolor Kraft to be fixed. During the first season I had the boat it was there no less than 5 times, their customer service was horrible and they constantly missed promise dates. In the sun it looked like robins egg blue instead of white. The next spring I had Fast Forward fix the issue to the tune of $2k out of my pocket. Pete, how did you get hooked up with them?

[QUOTE=RaggedEdge;2733407]Lets just get all this paint chit in one place.................

Hot Stepper...... has paint that is focked up near the fuel vent for some reason. But chooses to live with it as it is. Oh well, to each his own.

Not that I choose to leave it as is. Somthing about not having the boat available during the summer seams wrong to me. Then finding some one to spray imron, I've found to be very time consuming.
Would any one suggest using a different paint and just matching the color? If so I could get it done most anywhere.
