if your basing hard and fast paid for educated opinion on valve springs based upon carbed 500's...
remember the EFI's had a better spring in them to begin with than the carbed predecessor/sibling |

Went back and checked to be sure, I was thinking that this started with Bob asking for an "opinion" from a couple of us.

I am going to run the Isky Tool room 9005 spring this year, but I don't think you have to with the stock cam as Ragged mentioned. Either the Comp 929's or the Isky Endurance springs that Ragged suggested wil be fine. Pete, do you have a part number? I would also replace the retainers and locks while you are in there. Valve heights should be set at 1.900 or 150lbs. of seat pressure. (Should be around 1.880 to 1.900). Change the valve seals as well. Let me know if you need a source for the parts....I got a "Guy".

Colleen...That's right. Sorry to hear about the chemo...Is that why she hasn't been around the last 2 years?
