I'm surprised that fancy Fountain didn't come with a radio. All our Formulas do!!

And by the way, next time I come to the boathouse and you're sleeping, I'm climbing right down in that cabin and pulling your narrow, little a$$ right out!!

Ok, your turn. Fire away.

Needed some fuel first and you boys were gone when we came back out. Wanted some time on the drive and with the new props to sort them out so we went cruising. Nothing to do with you, I'm sure you know that.

I've got a radio, even has a CD player in it!

As far as my early nap, spent the day before getting my little azz drenched a couple times, was tired, cold and just said F it. I've had this sinus thing for over a month now and friday didn't help it. Besides I've seen you slip off for a nap before as well, no big deal, though I'm sure I'll hear about it more than once. We can catch up this weekend down in the Pond over a few.

BTW, if you see Mike tell him I will check out those things for him. Just didn't get to it today.

How are the props Pete?? When I was watching you as I was having brunch at the river edge...(one of the Debs was having a hard time getting motivated..think it had to do with the porch) Sounded like they were having a issue hooking up with some water. Any interest in a drag race??

I think the boat comes on plane real well...Pete just needs to learn patience. Let it get moving a little before you hammer it. Two things will happen...No more fuzz on the magnet, and it will fall over eaiser. You know, like the first time you put it up on plane. Also, don't put the tabs down so far.

I thought he'd learn that those HIGH X's require some finesse.

Hey Ragged...Ease off on Rippem. Remember who helped you in the pouring rain...

Dave

The Bird's more sober friends got me off the porch before the real debauchery started. If I'd have stayed I wouldn't have remembered it anyway.

So So!!! They are a little challenged on the low end.

I do have a set that come up quicker than the ones I had on sunday but they only run 92 mph and are down a few hundred rpm. Then there's the other set that work better in the slop, but they only run 91-92 banging on the limiters. The sunday props were a shot in the dark, but for about 7 cents on the dollar they have some possibilities with a little well thought out tweeks. Still not where I want to be, one of these days I'll find that set that will do it all.

Nothing to do with it at all, had a talk with Jake about the drive and also the bottle deal and he felt it was nothing. After running around on sunday all the air burped out, topped off the lube and it was fine. One bearing starting to go south does not a disaster make, was just lucky to catch it.

We were all talking props on Sunday. The consensus is that you won't find a prop that does it all. Props are a huge program of compromizes. That's why they tried those goofy variable pitch props some years ago. Can't have it all.

In my opinion, who cars about hole shots. Nobody drag races from a dead stop (except drag boats of course and maybe Bob). As long as it comes out of the hole reasonably well thats fine. Hole shots just tear up drives anyway.

As long as you find something that eeks out the last available mph, you'll be happy.
