Well you missed it yesterday, weather in these parts was close to perfect. Boat got wet for the first time this year, one water pressure gauge has the reads off flu, other than that it ram like a mofer, end of the day it tagged a nice nine two in a real small 6" chop, bunch of nine o's earlier in the day on dead flat chit. I see numbers like that I know all is well. Need to research the water pressure gauge deal, works ok but just starts out and reads way high.
Looks like the boathouse deal may be for August only this year, next couple weekends look like trailer deals down on this end, ran into some friends out yesterday and had a good time running around my childhood stomping grounds.

yea yesterday seemed ideal what I saw of it around sleeping between shifts.
wife and kids are out of town so the animals and I had a pretty sound nap
the wonderful double whammy about it is that not only was I cut off from weather like that, but that same weather assures a steady nighttime volume of "extra special idiots" in the ER!

so anyway I thought I should put new belts on as these are the originals and 12+ years old. They don't see the heat breakdown as in an automotive app, and look fine, but a silly reason to be down a motor somewhere.
seventy bucks apiece "discount" pricing for "OEM" labeled Merc on the net, with a little cross-referencing and a coupon code for my advance auto accnt, got two Gates W-profile aramid fiber replacements for 46 bucks shipped to the house! Keep in mind they are 111 + inches circumference for my app.
anyway they'll be here in the am as it turns out so I throw them on...
on another note wanna get me one of those Hellcats! 10.8's 128 bone stock auto (8 speed) on drag radials, 11.2 similar trap speed on stock Goodyears...
Screamin for the largest (5 seater) heaviest, most comfortable, best riding modern musclecar!
This car is getting everyone's attention!

well that didn't pan
those Dayco belts are an inch plus too short even with the alt right up against the block.
advertised as the exact length spec of the stocker 111.25" OD (advertised)
NOT!
probably cheating on length to save $ as on a loaded tensioner setup in a car wouldn't be noticed, but on a fixed system no-go.
EDIT: looks like I need 5061130 advertised as 113 in.(advertised) or 2830 mm, cause an inch+ is about what I need.
although 25 mm comes out to .98"
oh well gotta go right by advance this morning anyway
I'll beat this for $40 some odd dollars as opposed to the $140 for "Merc" labeled

FINALLY, the big only chore of the day is breaking in a new chamois mop!
boat runs well two-way average 72 GPS @ 5050 FULL load- fuel, water, gear, 3 people.
only further hiccup was a port side shift detent ball, easy fix done yesterday morning.
