They are scheduled to go into surgery sometime today. The head surgeon is to oversee the entire operation, says he can restore their early spring zip and attitude. Should be all better in a couple of days.

I don't know Pete....This seems out of hand. Side by side to the top end, straight line with the wind towards Singer?
I know I can get the jump on you out of the hole, that would be unfair. Not going to beat the chit out of my boat to Singer and back. The by-standers and watchers seem to have their own agenda. Let's figure it out before we get there.

I don't know that it's that out of hand, but there is a lot of chatter from the wannabe gallery.
Just out of idle curiousity, how much are you wannabes willing to ante up to see this? Old Triple Digits wants money to run and he ain't even as fast as Axa, let alone............... Maybe you boys should start a pool, winner takes all. This high priced chit don't run on Thank Yous boys.
PS........You guys start the pool, I'll let you know when it's big enough.

Sounds like the beginning of an excuse for defeat.
Being the "KING of the River" why would you be concerned or in fact feel challenged by any of these allegations.
You should be welcoming all contenders so you can officially end all of this.
I'll start a pool ..... A pool that you won't show up without an excuse ...... it's raining ...... the sun off my big windshield was in my eyes ...... the waves were to big ....... etc. etc. etc.
Do we need a radar gun for this event or is all the tattle tails in good working order?
I will throw this out there ...... I will buy the first round for the winners and losers of the "Main Event" at Rum Runner or Tiki Bar ..... I will also include all of Officials for this as well.
