The by-standers and watchers have been by-standing and watching this whole thing unfold for months now. The secret parts, the alledged 94 mph on the recall, the prop drama, the boasting, it's all been quite entertaining. But, now its time,,,,, time to buck up and run 'em.

No money, no bets, no excuses. Just run. Recalls don't count. Only thing that counts is who crosses first. That way, its not just speed, its driving too. This is a race, not a kilo run, right?

If you guys don't want to run to Singer and back, just run to Singer. We'll be there waiting. No fair backing off if one or the other gets out front. We want to see who beats whom and by how much.

According to what we've been hearing, it should be close.

So, hows that for ground rules (or water rules, as it were).

Now Petie, you're getting far too serious here. To be perfectly honest about this whole thing, I couldn't care less who's faster. It's just a pass of the time to bust balls here, remember what this thread is about. I'm perfectly content to cruise at 40 with my old lead-sled and I don't give a chit about speed.

I think it's cool that you and Axa have some pretty serious hardware that runs fast. Personally, I wouldn't dream of spending that kind of dough to go fast. I'd spend it on a more liveable boat, like I plan to in the near future. That is if my 401comes out of the toilet.

So, run or don't run, bet or don't bet, boast or don't boast. I'll just sit in the wings and watch (and maybe snicker a bit).

Cocktails anyone????

Works for me, I heard you were buying.

"BUTTWADS", Pretty much covers it in my book. This whole deal had pretty much settled down till they went and fired it all up again. Some just are not smart enough to let the sleeping dog lie.
