I didn't know State Farm insured these kind of boats. When I started my business I rented 1/2 of my office from a State Farm Agent. Back then he couldn't even insure my business needs. I may have to do a little homework.

I just left him an email. I'll see what they have to say tomorrow. Thanks!

I understand there is a cheaper alternative than what I pay for my 353...but I'll tell you I sleep well at night knowing that if I have a loss It'll be a zero BS situation guaranteed.

I have had an auto and sled claim over the years...immediate service, healthy adjustment/payout, happy camper .

Rip,
My initial post was just to see if I was paying what should be expected, and I really thought I wouldn't have to shop. Mainly because, as you stated I felt I was covered properly and wouldn't have any issues. I am finding that I could still sleep good at 30-40% less the premium. Not knocking my existing carrier, but maybe coming to the conclusion that they could be more competitive.

Just finalized the deal with Bob Luellen @ WorldWide Marine. There was a significant premium change (for the better) and also no layup or restrictions on waters that I had with Markel.

Thanks for all the input!
