I took a vacuflush out of my 353 last summer and installed a porta unit in its place. Many guys on the board thought I was nuts. Both install or take out was quite simple. I desanitished entire unit and still have. My issue was that holding tank mounted right in front of engines and I preferred to have easier access to change impellors, etc.
