Default Formula Upgrade like a Lip Ship

Do what i did to mine a few years back. Built a custom Fairing Painted to match Torch graphics, White Powder Coat all the SS Rails, and Grab Handles. Really looked nice and didn't look so much like a Cruiser. Maybe simplify the Cabin area and drop some weight. I have now owned a Outerlimits 37' and now a 36 Skater and my Formula was just as nice a boat just not as fast but what a great all around boat (2001 38 w/ 575 Sc's). I would guess that someday I will own one again and it will have to be different than all the rest.

Another thought...How about replacing the rear bench seat with three man bolsters. Also, I would think that Formula could offer this as an option.

I have always thought that they should make an intergraded ladder in the cabin door, make it a little easier to get on the bow, and simplify the cabin a little like bripar77 stated, shed some pounds, throw in a nice floor in the cockpit like some of the cigs, and def. incorporate a new windscreen, I know that they have made some in the past, but I think there is still some work to do to them to make them look right.last but not leased, ditch the bow rails.

In the bling category, led lighting, cockpit and engine compartment.

I like how the 2008 Formulas have the silver dash, but I think they should have carried over to the sliding door as well. Integrated steps like GrandTimes said would be great.

the integrated steps in the door would be worthless without a SUBSTANTIAL center w/s support...
and a first mate with a 30" stride.
as far as the w/s is laid back, and as little dash as there is behind the top frame looking down, it's not an ideal step over situation.

aluminum or fiberglass fairing 1st on my list...

One-off graphics, interior trim and colors, trick (led) cockpit / engine lighting, and race-style rigging. If I'm going through the trouble to do it myself, it must be what I want...

When I had my 382 I wanted to remove the grab rails front deck and rear, Custom Fairing, 3 man rear bolster, custom sun deck with hatch scoops and all the billet accesories like a Cig or Outlerlimits.

Hope this helps.

Depends how far you want to go...visually I agree with eveyrthing that has been suggested. Fairing, custom paint, custom painted/billet accessories/drives/tabs. Also look into custom power and possibly a more stripped down cabin to lighten things up for better performance(would have to research how center of gravity and such would be effected). Maybe work with formula R&D to create a cross between their race boats and full blown production boats--different lighter race hull layups in a pleasure layout with or without cabin. Just a few off the wall ideas for ya
