Bird,
Sam says you're in the doghouse, you're going to have to get more creative than that to get back out.

Tell her I'll come up with something.

OK, so I'm almost done working 24 hours per day, I need to get going on the exhaust swap. Does anyone know how high the stock risers are, 3" or 4"? And, do any exhausts come with straight 90 degree risers to acommodate the Formula tip locations? I'd rather not get into fabricating wedges to align the risers with the tips.

My Stainless have no wedges or anything, the tailpieces push into flex hose about 8" long and straight into the stock tips.

Dave I am thinking you cant do a 90* bend because the exhaust elbow or some point of the tail needs to be higher than the exit point in the transom to prevent water flowing back toward the motors ...m

3 Attachment(s)
Finished product ...Any manufactor should be able to line em up to the transom .... they may already have the numbers ...Mine are Gils manifolds and Stainless Marine made the pipes ...The pipes are as new ....held up well ...m

The 3" or 4" is the diameter of the exhaust hose I think. The risers are 6" tall and like I mentioned earlier, check to see if you have a 3" spacer between manifold and riser; that's what I have in mine.

I don't think I've ever read a negative comment about Stainless Marine. Other than the 3" spacer there is nothing irregular about our exhaust. SM should be a bolt on deal.
